People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

Apparently 40 of 45 senate democrats have received monies from taken money from Abramoff, his associates, and Indian tribe clients according to the NRSC's website. The media has you believe it is just the dirty Republicans making money. Believe me, they all are.

Indian Tribes
Whats the issue? Apparently Indian tribes can give upwards near $500k in campaign donations. They do not fall under the restrictions that other organizations do, which allow for $25K. This is where I have an issue with the "Maverick" John McCain. McCain was the second largest recipient of Indian Tribe money, yet his Campaign Finance Reform bill does nothing to curtail those kind of large donations. I guess its easy to ban activities that you do not benefit yourself.

I was watching CSPAN the other night. I know... boring. Dorgan was questioning a guy whose job is to conduct oversight on lobbyists. I couldn't help but think that Dorgan should have been in this guys seat and this guy in Dorgan's seat.

Dorgan was the one who wrote a letter to the Interior Department to try and get them to grant a building contract to one tribe that paid him over another tribe that did not pay to play.

I think Dorgan received $19,000 for writing that letter.

And the point is that all people in Washington are corrupt to the bone... we know this.... the second these jerks get elected and handed money by Abramoff or a clone of him.. is the exact same moment they lost all care of the people that elected him or her.
