Quote:
The largest study of banknotes has found that 95% of dollar bills in Washington DC bear traces of the illegal drug cocaine.

The figure for the US capital is up 20% over two years.

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth tested notes from more than 30 cities worldwide.

They say the rise observed in the US may be due to increased drug use caused by higher stress levels linked to the global economic downturn.

Bank notes can pick up traces of cocaine directly from users snorting it through rolled up bills or when cash is stacked together.

Interesting that the district with over 55% of it's population being African American has a drug problem...

If one is experiencing "economic downturn", doing more blow isn't going to help.

Interesting that you are white and you too have the same problem.

Cocaine is prevalent in urban slum areas, not in areas populated by "African Americans".

Areas populated by African Americans are urban slums, or cause them, to some extent. That is the nature of mass immigration to an area, without unlimited resources, urban slums are created by that movement of people(in the modern environment). No we don't really have urban slums in Iowa...

Specifically and especially in the north... where the native people are white and the spread of minorities throughout America is just reaching the Midwest, we are not seeing a lot of the problems that the rest of the country faces like poverty and entire areas that aren't safe to enter.

I know you read between the lines on my comment... I don't mind cocaine I was just stating something obvious and it was my opinion that it was interesting.

Crack is cheap. Powder cocaine is pricey here, too.

So I'm told.
