Areas populated by African Americans are urban slums, or cause them, to some extent. That is the nature of mass immigration to an area, without unlimited resources, urban slums are created by that movement of people(in the modern environment). No we don't really have urban slums in Iowa...
Specifically and especially in the north... where the native people are white and the spread of minorities throughout America is just reaching the Midwest, we are not seeing a lot of the problems that the rest of the country faces like poverty and entire areas that aren't safe to enter.
I know you read between the lines on my comment... I don't mind cocaine I was just stating something obvious and it was my opinion that it was interesting.
