Quote:
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico enacted a controversial law on Thursday decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana, cocaine, heroin and other drugs while encouraging government-financed treatment for drug dependency free of charge.

The law sets out maximum "personal use" amounts for drugs, also including LSD and methamphetamine. People detained with those quantities will no longer face criminal prosecution; the law goes into effect on Friday.

Does the US like this after we have given them billions of dollars to fund their war on drugs? Haha

War is a biological necessity of the first importance, a regulative element in the life of mankind which cannot be dispensed with, since without it an unhealthy development will follow, which excludes every advancement of the race, and therefore all real civilization.-Friedrich von Bernhardi

What can be said for a man who would allow his home to be invaded by strangers who demanded they be fed, clothed, housed and granted the rights of the first-born? What can be said for a ruling elite that permits this to be done to the nation, and who celebrate it as a milestone of moral progress?-Pat Buchanan

It's the way forward. Prohibition doesn't work. Never did,Never will. People are always gonna take drugs. The sooner we all wise up to this the better. Education is the only way to fight it. Anything else is madness.

It worked for the Netherlands they didn’t see a jump in usage, plenty of theories why but what does it matter, they legalised a heap of stuff and no harm came.
