There are several sightings of this creature in Baltimore. No one knows what it is, it's dog like, but it's not a dog.

Quotes from eyewitnesses

"It comes to our house. It's been up in the woods for a while and it comes up through the bottom of our yard and eats our cat food."

"I don't know, it doesn't look like it's going to harm anybody."

"It's not afraid of the cats and the cats seem to get along with it fine."

"Very bizarre. I went and got my father and cousin and they came and looked at it and their reactions were pretty much the same -- what in the world are we looking at?"

The beast is not shy, and visits most often under bright sun. While no one knows what it is, they do have a name for it -- the hyote, a combination of a hyena and a coyote.

Whatever it is.. it's pretty cool. If it's not attacking pets and just hanging out making it's living.

that is pretty wild! It does look like a cross between a cyote and hyena. it just doesnt look much like a dog. must be something that got away from a private zoo. at first I thought it was a dog with very bad mange. but the neck too long and ear set is strange it has longer legs like a wolf.

I thought that too until I really looked at this picture.

I have never seen a horse walk like that.

TASMANIAN TIGER

I think this was solved by Snuggles.

She noted "hey it looks like the fabled TASMANIAN TIGER.

so I did some digging and found some photos of it (it has not been seen since the 1950's)

I have seen the old movies of the tiger and would say a couple of things.

You all have seen on film one way or another most of the opened jaws of the meat eating animal types of the world today.

The tiger had a truely distinct opened jaw and teeth that was a bit elongated.

Its skin as well was truley odd in the animal kingdom for it had the appearance of 2 different animal coats sewn together.

Its hind quarters and feet were also unique in that it could flex the rear paw to go from that of a cat or dog for running to that of a kangaroo type foot and flatten for better upright support and lifting thus having 2 paw sets and tracks.

It had no mane.

It ofcourse was a marsupial which feel in line with evolutionist theory of Australia but didnt fit with its body type as to how it could have evolved seperately yet "parallel".

Infact it was truely a "monkey wrench" in the scheme of evolutionist theory.

The animal on the video in Baltimore could be something odd or could be a fox with mange and swollen body and facial features.

Speaking of monkey wrenches in evolution theory the American Possum has always been a favorite of mine.

Thanks for the video links to the Hyote / Tiger / who knows.

I still am not 100% sure what it is. I does have many of the same features (and same size) as the TASMANIAN TIGER.

I don't know what to think of it.

the reporter did admit it could be just a really sick wolf or something along those lines (more of a sick animal).

It's behavior would note that something is wrong, appearing in front of humans in broad daylight, showing no fear of anything. It's the kind of thing that my parents told me "if an animal is too friendly it might have rabies"

regardless I am curious as to what it is, how it got there.
