TAMPA, Florida (AP) -- A 23-year-old middle-school teacher was charged with having sex with a 14-year-old student in a classroom, at her apartment and, once, in a vehicle while the teen's 15-year-old cousin drove.

Your hero is a 14 year old hormone-driven student who was found attractive by a lonely chool teacher who obviously was pretty enough that she could have found someone her own age (you'd think). Van Halen sang about "hot for Teacher" but I didn't think people actually felt that way.

You know, I have both, teenage girls and boys, but it wasn't all that long ago (well, actually it was but I have a great memory! ) that I don't remember what it was like to be a teenage boy with hormones raging, and I have to imagine that it is the same for girls. How many 14yo boys would turn down an offer like that from her? Come on, admit it, be honest and don't think about your kids, think about being a 14yo boy. Not only is he getting what he only had wet dreams about, but the other kids know and he is the school stud now. Peer pressure/respect is a mighty thing at that age. All the other boys are green with envy. I was brought up in a Catholic household, went to Catholic school, was taught your supposed to be good and save it for marriage. I didn't and they weren't near as nice as she is! When I was 16 I was dating a college Junior and that would be only slightly smaller difference in age. I think she was 21. ( I always looked older then I was) I didn't see a problem with it, she didn't have a problem with it and my buddies sure didn't see any problem with it!

And before you go off Pilli, yeah, I would have a problem if it was my daughter. I can see what your getting at. But you hear about that in the news too. And if the gals are honest, I bet more then a few have had crushes on a young handsome teacher at one time or another.
