JJ needs to release a little INfo. I've already grown tired of the constant guessing games.

F/ck Cloverfield.

I do have a silly little theory though, regarding the 'cheese' title - and the 'parasite' references as well.

I got to thinking about how cheese is made. Basically it's cow milk that coagulates with the help of a little bacteria (a parasite).

Could it be that the monster is a sort of an amalgamation of some organic matter(?) (possibly a living creature) that 'changes' into something else with the addition of a parasite (probably alien)?

Kind of stupid, sure - but there isn't any lack of stupid theories out there already so what the hell. There it is.

The most recent references I've read refer to a 'scaled' creature - and rumors of the scales regenerating(?) into something else if one were to be knocked loose from the creature (supposedly a raptor like creature).

That sounds pretty lame to me, like most of the other speculation and 'inside info' that is leaking out (deliberately?).

I've also heard that people like me who are expecting a bit of an in depth story line regarding the origins of the monster will be disappointed.

Most of the stuff I've read is actually making me less enthused about this movie. Everything so far sounds flat out stupid.

Druidry/Wicca does not preach an Apocalypse. Your statement that "every religion has something about apocalypse" is False.

That's just a site for the 'bloop' sound. It's an actual sound that was recorded, supposedly of something living and larger than a blue whale.

That theory and the co-ordinates given for the sound reminded some of Lovecraft's Cthulhu.

It also supposedly is an inspiration for Abrams new creature.

There is a recent Cthulhu movie, but it looks pretty lame. No actual creature in the movie.

Anybody got a review yet?

Looks cool, but I'm getting increasingly disturbed with 'director's vision' movies that look like crap in a high def era.
